Ceigall India has emerged as the lowest bidder for the development of a 25.24 km, six-lane greenfield southern Ludhiana bypass, a vital part of the Ludhiana-Ajmer economic corridor, to be executed under the hybrid annuity model (HAM) in Punjab.
Ceigall India’s winning bid for the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is Rs 923 crore. Earlier in June 2022, this project was awarded to Ceigall India for a bid of Rs 702 crore but was amicably revoked due to the unavailability of the construction site, the company said in a statement on Sunday.
“This project is a testament to our expertise and resilience in the infrastructure sector,” Ramneek Sehgal, managing director, Ceigall India said.
“We are committed to delivering high-quality infrastructure that enhances connectivity and economic growth,” Sehgal added.
The company anticipates securing contracts totalling Rs 5,000 crore by the end of FY2025. So far, it has secured contracts worth around Rs 3,700 crore and with this latest tender its total contract value for the current financial year surpassed Rs 4,600 crore.
“We remain confident that by March 2025, we will exceed Rs 5,000 crore in tenders,” Sehgal said, adding that the company has already submitted tenders worth Rs 15,000 crore, which are expected to be opened soon.
As per the company statement, Ceigall India continues to secure key projects and expand its presence across ten states in India.
Ceigall India’s competitive bidding strategy and commitment to timely project execution position it uniquely for being India’s premier infrastructure company specializing in highways, bridges, and urban development, it added.
